Goodbye to the 2000's Good, Bad, Ugly "The Big Zero"

Let's start with The Good
-I fled to the Right Coast and reunited with Family
-dropped my son off at Rutgers University, where after 7 years of Higher Education, he earned a JD
-met my wonderful husband
-advanced my career to Director level, helping to run a 300-employee construction company
-got to meet David Sedaris in person (thanks to Ronnie)
-bought a house
-acquired the most amazing and wonderful daughter-in-law
-adopted my Bichon, Dolly
-went to Italy

The Bad
-witnessed 9/11
-failed to stop the beginning of Iraq war, failed to defeat GWB in term 2, and the war escalation in the latter part of the decade
-lost a house
-lost a job, twice

The Ugly
-stood by my man as he lost his job and home
-thought that Enron was the worst thing that could happen to the US economy (after 9/11)
-was a witness to the near collapse of the entire US economy due to the snakes on Wall Street and a thing they invented called Credit Default Swaps
